Provide high level advice and support to staff both within OAU and other Oxfam Affiliates on content collection, research and commissions.
The consultant will work with the Strategic Leads and the Contract Management Coordinator Team to develop an updated set of policies and associated implementation guidance.
Respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and additional disasters regionally in the Pacific and in five specific countries: Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji.
Responsible for aspects of Program Development and Resourcing within an allocated portfolio, including business development and strategic relationship engagement with Oxfam International and external donors and working groups.
Responsible for building capacity to implement program management procedures and program policies and monitoring the implementation of these to ensure OAU quality and compliance expectations are met.
Serve as an internal consultant to the organisation on human resources-related issues and needs.
Responsible for supporting the delivery of financial management reports, insights and improvements across program management and organisational performance.
Lead or contribute to the development and delivery of policy and advocacy strategies across the four dimensions of inequality that keep people in poverty, and humanitarian assistance.
Utilise agile project management methodology and support the team to deliver work on time, within budget, on brief and on brand
